So are we expecting futher changes or is that it??

I thought SN at 7 was very good btw, quite like the news at 10.

Theres lots of changes to come. Including new music, when that airs, I dont know though.

Are we talking next Monday,Tomorrow or like the New Year?

It would make sense if they were holding back to see if there was an election but other than that i dont see the problem with debuting it all today.

Im not sure exactly when, but its soon. The music is great Surprised

I've heard better Greg! but it's okay, I can't see them using much of the new package to be honest, it's way to electronic and overuse of fx sounding now, mixed with the original orchestral strings, era 2005. David Lowe succeeds with that idea with BBC News as the synths, composed under the regular beat of the infamous pip is simple, emotive and generaly warm sounding. Adelphoi has tried to turn strings into space zapping sounds from the 70s and it's a bit of a muddle. That said a few cuts are nice, you should hear them soon enough.

The music being used on Sky.com News sounds like the new music, very funky, hints of the 2005 orchestral theme. Nice presentation, Martin is up on the second level.

Not right sure about this Sky.com News malarkey. Bit of a graphical overload to be honest.

Music's a bit dancier though... hope it's not an indication of what the rest of the music will sound like, it's a bit flat.

Don't know if this was seen on tv, but on the live online version of Sky.com News we seen Martin sign off following the answers to the quiz questions, it then went to the Qatar Airways promo, but cut back to Martin, we couldn't hear anything but he was talking to someone, we then heard "This is Sky News with Anna Jones" it sounded like it was going to continue.. as if another name should be added. It then quickly cut to the globe and one of the old beds.

Sky News really need to improve their live streaming - the quality is awful. And start broadcasting 24/7 on their website.

Oh and remove that weird stretched DOG on the stream.

Has anyone else noticed former Sky News Royal Correspondent Katherine Witty side by side with Mohammed Al Fayed outside London's High Court today?

Are they together?

Radio 1 said she was his spokesman on newsbeat earlier.

Always seems to have an interesting choice of spokesperson. Laurie Mayer, Michael Cole, now Katherine Witty.

I see Colin is standing at the shoebox ( is that how you call it) during the TOTH, but the voiceover doesn't say his name. Sad

According to WotSat.com, Sky News is to become subscription based on both satellite and cable as well as on DTT.

WotSat.com article - Sky News's free days are numbered

If this latest greediness from Murdoch's money vultures turns out to be true, then it'll surely ring the death knell for the
channel, and leave BBC News 24 as the only free-to-air news channel for the vast majority of multi-channel viewers.

Well then, at this rate I doubt Sky News is going to be around for much longer. Its just daft doing all this, don't they have the common sense to realise there not going to get anymore viewers by doing this, let alone money to pay for a subscription.
