Somebody mentioned that they couldn't utilise the studio and walk around as they did in 2005 with one presenter, yet they have done this everyday on lunchtime live

What I was trying to suggest is that it is obviously harder to do. You would have to go from newswall - to a report - to elbow - to report - desk. etc

Nice to see old weekend presenters (Martin,Allan & Paula) today. I guess all the others are getting ready for their new slots.

I wonder if there is any chance the toth changes etc. will be introduced tommorrow night,as the graphics were last February.

And why is it that Sky have yet to make a press realease on the changes to the schedule,i know there was one about the sky.com news show but i dont believe there was one about the rest of the shows.I suspect the Lunchtime Live site will be updated tommorrow,as i understand Steve Dixon said in the email thing that there would be changes on the website "over the weekend".

Good to see Alan King on but i wonder if this will be last we see of him, with the new schedule i dont see him getting much of a look in.

BTW do people with "inside info" know if the hideous coming up graphics and blue newswall backgrounds will be dropped, fingers crossed!

It has been mentioned on the website, and in the Guardian etc...

Does anyone know when the new top of the hour and other changes will come in to effect?

Will it be at the beginning of Sunrise tomorrow or late tonight, like it was with the graphics changes in February.

I doubt it but i would like to see them tonight.

Having said that were the graphics not launched on the Sunday night so that there would be no problems in Sunrise the following morning,as it was being simulcast on Sky One.

If it is tonight, the natural time would be 8pm, after the Madeleine programme. But who knows..

EDIT: Just watched a bit of that programme, and they showed a clip of one of the first live reports from Portugal, and bizzarely it was Jo Wheeler, the weather forecaster. Apparently she lives over there so it makes sense I guess.

IIRC, the new graphics in February were launched at 9pm, although with these changes, I see less of a need to launch them the night before - I expect Sunrise will be when we see/hear the changes first.

Well, not long to go now.
I hope the TOTH is something a bit more consistent with the graphics, I dont want to see blue, when theres no blue in the graphics anymore!
I wonder if along with the new TOTH we get new break bumpers etc?

The studio is all red and BLUE so thats an even bigger issue
