That's correct.

Seem weird that it's still in the stills bank or whether its stored for the desk to call it back up.

I must admit, this is all looking great, just maybe Eamonn off sunrise!
I hope that come Monday Sunrise is a bit more energetic, back like it was in the relaunch week, newswall/balcony. Wouldn't bring back the orange juice though! Laughing

I wonder do presenters get more money for presenting longer. Like Burley is doing an extra 2 hours (God help us), will she get more?

Also how many hours beforehand do presenters arrive to work? For some shifts there's little point coming in early at all.

Was there any mention of the changes on Lunchtime Live today,seening as it was the last Lunchtime Live??

Also what exactly is the reason behind the background currently being used in the Westminister studio,is there work going on?

I know that in Kay's daily email that Steve mentioned that Afternoon Live would be starting Monday, with news of the day and interviews.

Somebody mentioned that they couldn't utilise the studio and walk around as they did in 2005 with one presenter, yet they have done this everyday on lunchtime live

Theres actually a video on TV-Ark of Kay going into a break on the relaunch day, she walks down the stairs and the jib pans to the newswall before the break, it looked really slick. I think with Afternoon live being a longer period it would be good to use different locations in the studio, elbow for the main news, then the interview area would be the shoebox, with more of the human intrest stories/sport up at the balconys. Theres also a nice cap somewhere on TV Newsroom from the week of the relaunch, where the jib is actually facing the balcony area while Kay was interviewing someone, it looked great.

But that would mean someone else may steal her thunder about being the most important and being allowed to walk around. I am sure it would go down better if the rest of the presenters were just chained to the desk!!
