Madeleine: The Search For The Truth
Sky News presents a special report on the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, 150 days after she went missing.

Sky News Presenter Julie Etchingham examines the efforts to find the missing child and Sky News Crime Correspondent Martin Brunt reports on the latest news from the investigation into her disappearance.

Madeleine vanished from a holiday apartment at the Ocean Club resort in Praia da Luz, Portugal, on 3 May. On the night Madeleine disappeared, her parents Gerry and Kate McCann went for a meal with friends at the resort's tapas restaurant. During a forensic search of the apartment, traces of blood were found by investigators. As part of the ongoing investigation her parents have been named official suspects in the case. They deny any involvement in Madeleine’s disappearance.

Its funny that they have basicly brought back the Appointment To View style!

Indeed the basics are down, its just the music/graphics/other technical aspects that are being worked on still.

Do you know will each show use a specific part of the set?

And what exactly are the graphics changes?(is it just the toth or will the ticker/tower change?).

I don't like the weekend schedule, it's all male.
I hope they will at least make this new schedule a bit better with using different parts of the set, not just the desk all the time.

I think with the music sounding more lively they should liven up how the set is used, 7 presentation points and now about 2 are used, the desk and the elbow.
It would be nice if the newswall pod was used more.

And with that you've hit upon one of the bones of contention in the corridors of power...

What will happen to Paula M., Martin P. and other weekend presenters?
BTW are Allan King & Helen Fospero still with the channel.? I haven't seen them in ages.

So can we expect more use of the set?

I think if they do go down that line (and there is alot of conflict about this issue) then you will see each program using one or two areas of the set. You won't see any of the walking around that you saw in 2005 - partly because of practicality - remember you've only got 1 presenter.

I think using more of the set would just be a pointless exercise at the moment expecially given the way they seem to like zooming right into the face of the presenters.

As long as that awful background for SNat10 goes that's all that matters.

According to Adam Boulton, this woman singing at the Labour Conference is Glen Oglaza's wife. I don't remember reading about this in Heat magazine.

Anyway, then Adam Boulton went green for some reason.

Then a random graphic appeared without the tower. The picture isn't green anymore, could it be the tower causing the problem?

Ok, lets go back to the Bournmouth feed and take the tower (and ticker) off.

http://www.rp-network.com/tvforum/uploads/green4.jpg
Well, that didn't help.

http://www.rp-network.com/tvforum/uploads/green5.jpg
Oh wait, it did.

Adam Boulton isn't green any more.

Neither is Anna Jones. Doesn't Sky look odd without graphics?

http://www.rp-network.com/tvforum/uploads/green8.jpg
It looks even stranger when the name captions appear without any other graphics.

Its back to normal now.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that graphic hasn't been used on air since Stanford's evening show ended months ago, right?
