Everybody seems to have this thing that kay has had cosmetic treatment. She has not. What she did have was the fat from the bags under her eyes removed. Just to set the record straight.

Which surely counts as cosmetic surgery Confused

Are we expecting any graphics or toth titles changes to coincide with the new schedule?

Something that i've been meaning to ask for a while (and I say this in regards to News 24 as well):

How comes that graphics are not used to their usual effect post midnight? Particularly with Sky News, how come there is no headline graphics at the toth, and the graphics do not animate on/off screen at all?

What puzzles me the most is why breaking news never uses the ticker on Sky through the night?

Ticker or graphic producers finish at midnight.

The gallery staff levels drop after midnight. When Sky were in the old studio they'd have a Director asst., Director who'd visual mix the programme, producer, sound and autocue op. normally before CBS the floor manager and camera op will remain on, but from 1am the gallery usually runs by 5 people.

I noticed the ticker promoting that this morning, and was a bit puzzled. It seems as out of place as the idea of VH1 broadcasting rolling news.

About time...lifeless personality. I thought it was initial nerves and she needed time to settle in, but she's just a poor presenter and lacking any charisma.

I agree, that's the best place for her. She's lifeless and makes other anchors who work with her boring too.

"Pop star Prince will broadcast two songs live on TV on Friday as his 21-night residency at London's O2 arena draws to a close

"The tracks will be played exclusively on Sky News at the time of the gig. "

How did Sky News handle this? As a news story or by going to a break and playing the songs in the break?

Smacks of "we bought the rights to this, but have no idea what to do with it."

So she's basically going back to doing what she did on BBC Breakfast on Moira's days off?
