As much as I dislike Eammon Holmes on Sunrise, I must say he has an excellent ability to handle multiple pieces of breaking news all coming in.

I agree. If it wasn't for all the adverts (I really don't have time in the morning to sit through adverts) I'd watch Sunrise more.

Everybody seems to have this thing that kay has had cosmetic treatment. She has not. What she did have was the fat from the bags under her eyes removed. Just to set the record straight.

Will we see some new graphics ( TOTH, Idents) to co-incide with the new schedule?

Martin's virual removal from the schedule is the amazing thing. He's easily one of their best presenters and has been moved around the schedules so much over that last few years that I'm surprised he's not left.

It's probably Martins choice remember. Since August he has been fronting pre-recorded sky news bulletins for the website.

Just wild speculation - I wonder if any of the big name presenters from the TVchannel will appear on Sky News Radio when it launches next year - eg Martin Stanford could conceivable host a drivetime slot on the radio station then do the 7.30 show on TV.

Like i say, just wild speculation.

I'd like that. In the early days of the Sky News Radio on the hour bulletin service you'd regularly hear Allan King, Martin Stanford and Bob Friend reading bulletins and then see them pop up a couple of hours later on Sky News itself. Not the same I know but not impossible.

I must admit, don't really miss Sky News since it's removal from Virgin Media. Shame there's no alternative to News 24 just for choice sake but it's a far far better channel than it was a few years ago.

Again, I wish they'd give up with all this *what's on the web* business. It just smacks of lazy journalism. If I want to see what's popular on the internet then, *shock horror*, i could just log onto the internet.

Oh, so that's not cosmetic treatment then? Rolling Eyes

This programme won't last long. The ordinary viewer is not interested in "Your News" i.e. videos being sent in by viewers. It says it will feature all the most popular stories from the net for that day, so therefore we're going to see the top stories anyway. It's a cheap lazy attempt of an excuse of a programme. They've just put a label on it.

Anyway, the Sky News website isn't visually the best and information wise, it's behind the BBC and American news websites.
