The whole reason I can't take this schedule seriously is the fact that Lunchtime Live has been dropped

It hasn't been dropped, it's been extended. It's been mentioned that it was one of the success stories of the relaunch, so it kind-of makes sense what they are doing.

Bizzarely, it seems the single-headed shows do better, ratings-wise.

I think Gillian is pregnant so that takes care of her. She is one of the most boring presenters I've ever seen.

Yeah i suspect that "Afternoon Live" will be the exact same as Lunchtime Live just 2 hours longer, and least that will liven up the afternoons a bit.

2 things that make me query this schedule- Jeff Randall's program is missing from the new one and also, why bring Andrew Wilson back from US to present if they were not going to use him?

Kay Burley just said on Lunchtimetime Live something along the lines of "If you keep an eye on that page
over the next couple of weeks or so,you will notice a change first,i cant tell you more if i do i would have to
kill you"

I presume she could only have been talking about the extension and renaming of LL.

Sky News at Ten: James Rubin and Ginny Buckley? That would be a good pairing, IMO.

That would ruin Sky News once and for all!

With the current management i would not be suprised.

EDIT:The page with the new schedule has just been updated with info on the programmes.

I think an announcement on the changes is imminent.

Hopefully if this is the case (and I'll reserve judgement until it's on air) they'll have the savvy to present each program from a different area of the set.

e.g.

Sunrise - Shoebox
Sky Today - Newswall/pod
Afternoon Live - Elbow
Live at 5 - Desk
Sky News at 7 - Desk w/ globe background
7:30 programs - shoebox
15 minutes - Elbow

And actually seriously brand them, e.g. a seperate look and feel (lighting, and style) or graphics, although that may be a bit much.

Although I think it's safe to say we'll end up with everything being from the desk as now

EDIT: Looks as if Adam gonna present PMQs at 12:00 and at 21:30. Or at the very least it appears to be a seperate program.

I've only just realised Sky News today is being renamed Sky Today.
I'm really getting intrested with this new schedule now, it seems like they are kind of stepping back into the Appointment to View programmes.
