Those who suggest that Sky News is going the way of its US counterpart have another bit of evidence to go on. Consider Martin Stanford's script from 9:58am this morning...

"We're on shark watch off the coast of Cornwall. Is it a great white or a great deal about nothing? We report, you decide ."

First time I've heard that outside of Fox anyway.

Must say i think that SNT PM is the best programme on Sky News at the moment. There is good use of the studio and a good chemistry between Martin and Anna. Its almost like the good old days.

I agree, they are the best on Sky News right now. Julie & Colin are almost never together, it's either Julie on her own or Colin with someone else.

I tuned in this afternoon to find Julie presenting on her own. To be honest I think Sky really needs this sorting out. If a schedule is in place it should be in use. They seem to be in a mode of not caring which presenter is on when at the moment.
I really think Sky should be trying harder to win the viewers back. A new schedule should be put in place which would be used. Is a new TOTH still on the cards? I remember Paul Bromely mentioning it on his blog.

Couldnt agree more,it really is a mess at the moment. And i have a worrying feeling the 15min format may be used throughout the schedule.Hopefully Eamonn wont renew his contract and the appropriate changes can be made from there. But i still think with a few changes that Sky News can get back to a better state. But i suspect the further changes mentioned by Paul Bromley will never take place and these days his blog is just a joke. They stopped discussing Sky's coverage after the graphics were slated on his blog.

On Sunrise this morning, Steve was presenting from the main desk, at the old World News Tonight position, and the weather was done from the CSO, so it seems that there's something wrong with the newswall - although at least the left hand side of it is OK, because it was being used behind the guests.

and samantha simmonds was doing the updates with the gallery in the background, which though a bit dark for sunrise is a great shot.

Gillian Joseph doing ok covering the Foot and Mouth outbreak tonight, but i feel it would be better if there was 2 presenters on,suppose this is where the patched up schedule fails.

Faye's been freelancing with Sky since around March last year, I think.
