They should put the wide shot view on Sky News Active, and a Gallery shot maybe, you thought they would have kept it after the 2005 relaunch.

Anyway, I've noticed over the last couple of months that the presenters can't seem to get anymore closer to each other!

Take for example this shot in 2005:

Thanks to TV Newsroom for these images.

As you can see, the presenters seem to have moved closer to each other since 2005, which seems to block off the already small viewpoint of the newsroom/smaller desks.

I have to say, I'm warming to the graphics, the Breaking News ticker is very handy, but I am disappointed that the Breaking News colour on the straps, and newswall is still RED! Cant they have it yellow to match they Breaking News ticker?

One thing though, the studio now seems out-dated to the black, white and red graphics package. I hope they change the red/blue/purple blocks to red/purple/black, which may just make a huge difference to the look of the studio. Also, over the last few weeks of watching, the newsroom seems to be more noisy than the usual.
I wonder when the 'Phase 2' or the new titles sequence comes...

I really think the new graphics look good here, its just when they start adding the lower thirds and the breaking news ticker that they look a little bit tacky.

To be honest I would love to see a return of something like Martin's show in the evening, but it ain't gonna happen.

He was on Sunrise a few days back reading the news summaries.

Single anchored 9-Noon slot today? Tuned in at 11am to see just Martin Stanford, no co-anchor to be seen. But tbh - it didn't need a second presenter, Martin was his usual excellent self.

It is the way they are going, but as you say Martin is first rate.

Anyone know why Sky News used pictures from Fox News including Fox's graphics to show Bush's speach at about 7:15pm today when they had a clean feed available (as seen on Sky News Active)?

They switched a couple of minutes in so there must have been difficulties of some kind perhaps?

They were a bit late going into it too. CNN had it straight after headlines and BBC News 24 were also showing it by then too. I think it came quite unexpected. CNN never mentioned it as coming up before top of the hour.

Anyone heard anything more about whether Eamonn is likely to renew his contract?

I wish Simon McCoy was back on Sunrise.
