I signed up and searched for Sky News and was taken to their area.Looks OK maybe needs a bit more work done to it to make it better but it gives you an idea of what the News Centre is like in real life.
Yes ok it's from wikipedia, BUT who ever wrote this does seem to have at least some inside knowledge, because the last 'relaunch' did seem a bit of a botch, don't you think?...and now they have a virtual sky news, surely there is a chance that we could see something like 'Thompson&Botting' which sounds so OTT.

With several staff, both on the screen and behind the screen leaving on maternity leave in August, such as presenter Lorna Dunkley, many insiders have suggested that the late Summer months will see a further schedule revision with a greater emphasis on news tailored to a specific audience. Those programs such as 'News, Sport and Weather' which have proven to be popular with viewers are expected to continue, but will be split up. It has been suggested that a heavy review of programming was going to be carried out in time for the end of Sky News with Martin Stanford back in early 2007, however, there was a large amount of opposition from channel staff and so the Director's insistance gradually abated.

The Crime Uncovered specials graphics are so laughable. I might get some caps later. I wish we could have the relaunch days back.
I can live with the graphics - the whole concept I find much more worrying.
It feels more like a Brass Eye special as we're being urged to send in
videos of CRIME
and
pictures of CRIME
and at the end of this I doubt one of the possible conclusions they'll reach is 'nah, it's not too bad'.
Rumours in the Observer that Eamonn is scouting about - looking at other possible contracts - but despite his relative performance, do you think Sky wish to keep him?

No. I hope he goes. Then we can have Steve and Emma for Sunrise. From the shoebox as well not from that cramped old mez/balcony thing.
