Something similar to this was posted on TV Newsroom Forums, with the programme names such as Sky Evening etc.
Doubt they would change the graphics so soon, and moving Lunchtime Live to 11am!

Eh???

It's been removed since. Obviously some 10 year old kid.

Nice to see Lukwesa Burak on Sunrise this morning.

On Media Guardian they're reporting that Sky News are furious about some pooled BBC interview in relation to Harry not going to Iraq - and how they had to wait a full 15 minutes before they received it!

How petty - although it's pooled surely the broadcaster who conducts it should have the right to play it out first!

The whole idea behind pooled content is that the broadcaster recording it should be neutral and share accordingly.

Imagine if the BBC were able to play out the Queen's Christmas Message at 2:50pm because they recorded it, but everyone else had to wait until 3:00pm.

It does seem petty, also it isnt the first time BBC News has acted unfairly with a pool interview, as the article states.

I think there should be a neutral broadcasting service for these occasions, to make these interviews, and release them to the agencies/broadcasters

Sky News is about to launch itself in Second Life - a virtual 3D world on the web (www.secondlife.com).

'Residents' and visitors can be whoever, or whatever, they want to be. In this new world you are a computer generated character - an "avatar" - which you design yourself. You can change your age, physical appearance or even your gender.

The ABC's already done that - at its launch they simulcasted a 4 Corners (similar to Panorama) episode about Second Life itself. It's meant to be an experimental thing, a way of branching out - haven't the BBC done something similar, or was it someone else adapting their material (RSS feeds, video, etc)?

ABC managing director Mark Scott is very matter-of-fact when asked about his virtual alter ego. Yes, he has one but no, he’s not going to reveal his name.

Mr Scott is among the 4.6 million members of the virtual community Second Life, an online ‘world’ where members, and organisations, can interact with each other in a 3D-type environment.

Among the organisations to have their own presence in the Second Life community is the national broadcaster itself which has its own space, ABC Island, which it is hoped to expand on ABC’s current broadcast and online content.

ABC Island launches on Monday, and the first program to be ‘broadcast’ will be that night’s edition of Four Corners. Visitors to ABC Island will also be able to access music or video content and in the future may also view live performances.
