I must say, Sky's Vote 07 graphics are nice! Just the titles not the straps, they suck

It's great that Sky got Andrew Neill in for their election coverage. A great coup for them...surely the BBC are steaming about this?!

I recall during election 2001 that Sky and the BBC shared Andrew Neill in a very bizarre way.

During the day, the BBC had a phone in programme on BBC Two presented by Andrew Neill, to discuss election results and what have you. Sky had 'Your Call' running opposite it. In the evening, Sky had 'The Boulton Factor' and on occasions when Adam Boulton was not presenting, Andrew Neill would step in. This mean sometimes you could see him presenting an election show on BBC Two in the morning, then an election show on Sky News in the evening.

Presumably at the time he was not contracted to the BBC (assuming he is now) and so had the freedom to pick and choose. Did appear to be very odd though.

Sky's weather presenter Jo Wheeler has just popped up for a live two way from Portugal on the missing girl.

She was dressed in 'holiday wear' and had her arm in a sling, which leads me to wonder if Sky recalled her from holiday for the story?

I think its likely she was in Portugal but due to the story traveled to Praia Da Luz. The portuguese road network is usualy clear, so It wouldnt take long to get there, whereever she was prior to the event.

She did a good job of a live two-way with Jeremy just. Better than a few of the other reporters Sky have at the mo.

No, She lives there. She's probably on sick leave Laughing
Jo normally works at Sky on weekends and does a all day shift.
