I noticed over the weekend that the desk used for Sunrise upstairs has been changed or modified. There is now a recessed screen in it and the top is now white not beige.

Also, I think the scaffolding has gone from near the newswall...

First time i've watched Sky in a while - noticed a new sting for 'The Blair Years'...didnt use the Sky News package tho...but the music did seem recognisable.

I think he's good, they should put him in the evening shift with Anna Botting.

Yes i find Tim and Julie quite watchable; dare I say even human and personable.
If I wanted to sit down and watch an hour of news, I could watch those two without wanting to throw anything at the screen.

Agreed, Tim is an excellent "explainer" of the very complex foreign political situations that Sky News covers and is proving to be an excellent presenter/news reader (this is the first time I've seen him doing it).

As he spends much time out there in the real world, I think he appreciates the complexity and reality of issues and wants to give viewers the clearest picture.

In contrast to others who spend their days pacing up and down on a red carpet reading scripts written by others.

I notice Sunrise is titled Sunrise With Julie Etchingham tomorrow obviously they want somebody with past election experience in but I would of thought Mark Longhurst would have been able to handle it.Looks like Sky are going to do a good job with the Elections tonight,Martin is in his element at the moment up at the newswall.

I've never understood Martin's billing as King Of The Newswall. What does he do which is significantly different to any of his colleagues?
They all stand there reading stuff and making arm gestures towards the 'wall'.
