Anyone having problems watching the budget live feed on the Sky News Website - it's breaking up all over the place....

Its nice to see the new graphics on screen, no more globe backing and old two way graphics. I wonder when this style will be used for the rest of Sky News' Output?

i caught a bit of the coverage this afternoon, and thought the graphics were very effectively used indeed - especially the split screen used for e-mails and extra info.

the weather graphics have finally updated as well (all caps of course).

Martin Stanford certainly made use of the newswall to its capacity,he's been up there since Sunrise! The graphics for Stanford's explanations are quite good and told us the main points in an effective way.But the highlight was when he was in the virtual crane this morning looking at a crumbling No11 and then during Live @ 5 he had the Gordon Brown leaving do party graphics.Quite a succesful Budget Day for Sky News in my opinion.Good guests, good analyis and good graphics.

Still looks bad, they need to put those small graphics on screen rather than on the weather graphics, it looks really bad.

Has anyone notice some dodgy pixels on the newswall? I first noticed it on the weather yesterday.

It's around the middle, towards the top. If affects one screen but flickers slightly, and it produces slightly different colour patches to the colour being shown on the rest of the wall.

How sad am I for noticing, then posting Confused

1 column on the newswall was black for a while on Tuesday. You could notice it during the weather bulletin. Must be a few technical problems.

it was evident there for the weather, it looked like big inverted commas, on the screen to the right of the new day strap.

Plus, the gib cam flying in front of the camera at the very start of the the weather bulletin wasn't a good look Rolling Eyes

It appears that Steve Gaisford hasn't joined AJE on a permanent basis... he's doing the sport on Sunrise this morning.

Also, the swoosh graphic to the weather is now white instead of red. (the bit leading into the sponsor's graphic) if you know what I mean.

I like the red/white swoosh. The new graphics are really good, they just need time to get used to them.

This is just allignment of the camera. The weather never takes up the whole newswall - other things can be seen on the left. The camera was just a little too far to the left.
