The weather is still blue/white (day+time strap)
well at least the Quatar logo shows now
Every time I needed the time it showed the date, we don't need it really, N24 doesn't show or say it

Have you read this bit...?
What complete and utter boll*cks. Every bloody digital channel has a static logo. Does that mean all Sky News' previous logos were against Ofcom regulations?
Oh well, finally proof that Sky thinks its viewers are thick.

Many of you have asked why the cube turns. The answer, I'm told, is that Ofcom regulations don't permit static logos. This is to avoid screen burn.

It sounds like a wrong type of leaves arguement.
Like you say, does this mean every other digital channel is in breach of the guidelines?

I'd imagine the guidelines are specifically about size and opacity, maybe position too? If you consider the size of the sky news logo and the fact it is all white (i know the old one was also white but it fitted in nearer the bottom of the screen).
Even so sounds a bit like a cop-out.
