The point about trying to ignore the logo is so true. I try to ignore it, but im thinking that im trying to ignore it and cant actually watch. I have to laugh

I think the RTE Graphic Designers have met their match...

Looks like one of the crap attempts on the mock forum. I'm just waiting for the ticker to say:
| VIEWERS HATE NEW SKY NEWS GRAPHICS | COME ON! I'M ONLY 12 AND ALL I HAVE IS POWERPOINT! | EMAIL US JAMESH @ SKY . COM | TROLL ALERT | SKY.COM/NEWS |

It's worse than RTÉ! At least viewers don't have to put up with terrible graphics during reports et al, there's no escape on Sky, who insist on covering at least a quarter of the screen during waking hours.

As bad as the new font is, why hasn't it been introduced across the board? One of the many things about the new look that doesn't make sense.

I don't mind the other graphic changes although that ticker is a bit LOOK AT ME!

A similar thought came to me earlier. If that's the standard now of so-called 'professional' graphics, no wonder the Mocks forum on here has such a problem with "my mum thougth th!s wuz gud. i did it in powerpoint it took me 10 mins lolololol" trolls.

I've just tried watching the channel for a bit, but I'm in exactly the same situation as Square Eyes. Every time the DOG rotates, I look at it. I then end up trying to ignore it but then realise that I'm trying to ignore it and I've had to switch over.

I remain confident these can look good with a little help. But that ticker is vile! I like the yellow used for Breaking News, but the font is just too big.

The yellow and black don't correspondent with the colour scheme of the channel.

But surely there was nothing wrong with the last lot of graphics, i really liked them.

Whats with yellow and black thing, first itv news start using it badly on straps, and now its appeared on sky news

That's why CNN used them for breaking news, but on Sky it's dire.
