It would be great if it did something similar to the CNN logo where it spins from a globe to the words UP NEXT to WORLD NEWS
or for the likes of the only programmes still on sky news such as Lunchtime Live, Sunrise etc it turned from SKY NEWS to SUNRISE etc
To be honest, I don't think that much thought went into the graphics, so I wouldn't hold my breathe for something like that ahha
Yeah, why not try 'Sky News' turning to 'Next - Father Ted Fest' or 'Sky News' then 'Weekend Live' I also find the flat long logo and Tower logo yet another inconsistency.
I think Sky News should get the 'Razzie News Channel of the Year' award as well!

I can't believe how bad these actually are - with the exception of the Breaking News graphic which I quite like!
Surprised we haven't had "Breaking News: Oscars to be staged in LA tonight" yet though!
One of the few successes of the relaunches IMO was the graphics which on the whole worked well - and just slightly rejigging them could have incorporated the changes they wanted to make.
Also, why do Sky News continue to insist on doing their astons the wrong way round like

One of the few successes of the relaunches IMO was the graphics which on the whole worked well - and just slightly rejigging them could have incorporated the changes they wanted to make.
Also, why do Sky News continue to insist on doing their astons the wrong way round like

S*** - I wasn't expecting much and I didn't expect to see it as an improvement but I really didn't expect something as awful as that. I know people make comments like that about most pres changes on here, but really that's awful, not because it's down the fox route, just because it is plain awful!

They also need to sort out that spinning logo out as well. I think it could work if utilised properly. I also see that at TOTH switch from old logo to tower when heading into the 19.59.58 countdown - this again looks very silly. However, I could get used to the name astons in time.

Bloody hell, ugly is an understatement.
The rotating logo looks wrong, as everything else is 2D... and it's rotating in an unnatural direction (maybe I've watched too much Fox?).
The ticker is hideous- far too big, the text is massive and far too chunky.
I haven't had a chance to see the yellow breaking news bit in action on the screen yet, but it looks pretty horrible from the caps and clashes hideously with the studio which has no yellow in it whatsoever.
They seem to have changed to the (old?) News 24 font, which although nice on the "TOP STORIES" graphic, looks pretty bad everywhere else. The name straps (?) look wrong as they don't stretch all the way across, or don't join with the logo.
Putting the names of labels underneath looks weird, although I suppose this is to differentiate it from breaking news being actively covered. If we had say, a big news event with some major breaking news, would the ticker be flashing about too in an entirely different colour?
And looking at my telly, the stacked logo is about one pixel out to the right from
the time below. Although my TV isn't the most reliable thing in the world.
In summary: oh dear.
