As I was writing this post they flashed up some Breaking News ...in white on red this time.

I don't like the LIVE indicator either. They are going to have the problems the BBC had with a stacked one like that.

I did actually like the new TOTH countdown, though the names aston was a bit unusual. It was like this:

Yeah - I frankly find that all the comments that were made to BBC N24 have not been heeded. I realise they are different channels - but I would imagine the viewer would want to see the film and not supersized graphics!!

As for the name tags - it sounds like they are copying ITV regional news. So that means they've nabbed things from BBC N24, Fox, CNN USA and the ITV regions.

Absolute **** - the new graphics are horrible. But quite frankly Sky News' graphics always are. They look cheap and clunky.

Horrible, horrible, horrible.

These are awful. Ever heard of complementary colours? Massive fonts, rubbish looking fonts, huge (unnecessarily) rotating box. Need I go on? Okay I will. Plain blocks of color. They don't go with the set. Big astons. Changing aston colour? I've seen better in the mocks forum...

To give them *some* credit, you can't come up with anything that fresh these days without it being done by somebody else before - alot of channels have had alot of various designs.

Well, presumably they employed a deaf person to listen to viewer feedback and a blind person to design the things.

I think that's the only logical conclusion we can draw.

I really don't know where to start!

Before when they changed something I could see why they had done it but this time i just don't get it.

Are they trying to fit every colour of the rainbow on screen or something.

Just had, Red, White, Blue, Black, Yellow.

Good God, that is horrendous. I know graphic design trends go through peaks and troughs, and I think I may know whereabouts we are at the moment.
