The yellow and black hits you right between the eyes. I guess as it has with some people it is grabbing their attention, which i guess is good.
On a back note, what were you all thinking we were going to get tonight?

I aint that surprised. It looks a bit like what appears at large railway stations. The spinning logo and the 'coming up' graphics not changing that much is rather a let down. I was hoping they'd opt for a top to bottom revamp of titles though - although I was not expecting this after seeing previous comments!

I was expecting a bit of a naff revamp of the graphics, but nothing on the scale of naffness we're seeing here.
I mean, the whole point of the last graphics revamp (with the major relaunch) was to reduce screen clutter etc - yet they've decided to slap a great bit animating tower on the screen.
Cheap, Cheap, Cheap. And nasty.
I DO like the animation on the tweaked toth though - very swish (and the reintroduction of an (albeit boring) globe.

Wow.
They really are the worst ones to date. I don't think even the 2001 set can top this.
I do recall saying that from the sounds of things this set would be a little more ''intelligent'' than the previous ones. Seems that the only downfall has been that they were designed by a f-cking idiot.

What makes it worse is that nothing adds up, old rectangular logos on the newswall TOTH and bumpers. Red breaking news strap and newswall while the ticker is Yellow and Black.
I don't think there that bad, and hopefully they will act upon our options with it being the first few days of the new graphics.

Actually, now that I've seen them on screen, the principle isn't that bad. But I really dislike the way the logo turns unnecessarily. And the colours don't match up but hopefully this is the first of a phase of changes with more tomorrow.
At least Sky News can make their graphics fit 4:3 safe areas first time.
