I notice the live graphic is very BBC News. But it's at the right hand side now.

They need to get rid of the date as well underneath the logo. The fade to the clock doesn't work.

Very simple, but very easy to read and understand!

Yes - volcanos across the world are errupting, and sea levels are rising fast - run for the hills.

The size of the font on the ticker needs to be downsized.
The 'Impact' style font needs to be gotten rid of and replaced with something nicer.
The LIVE graphics is horrible aswell.
It looks like a mish mash of lots of stuff really, BBC News style Live graphic, MSNBC Live bumper.

On the whole its not great but not bad. Good to see the globe is back on the titles.

They have changed the Breaking News font on the newswall too.

Why a yellow breaking news strap but red Breaking News on the newswall. Whats going on!

looks like they've returned to the big, garish look they had before the relaunch, then. Don't see the point of the black ticker, why not blue?

This is defo more "in your face". I'm not really sure what to make of it all!

It seems that breaking news is only yellow on the tickertape. When the Breaking News aston is brought up, everything is red and while (like everything else).

Makes for a lack of coherence.

Personally, I'm not very impressed. They had an opportunity to move away from having red for everything, yet they didn't. They've gone from nice looking graphics, to big, bold and tacky.

The only nice thing I can see at the moment is the 3Dness of the logo (not the way it spins, but the slight gloss that's been applied to it).
