This could be a positive move for Sky News.
It's been shown that for news channels to get good reputations, they need to win the daytime, when most people who are in offices, in government, and in the press watch. Look at News 24 - they have (what I consider to be) strong partnerships in the daytime - Simon & Kate (lively and funny), Matthew & Jane (dream team), and Jon and Louise (dream team number two).
Martin is Sky's top presenter after the great JT, and so it makes sense to put him when people watch. Anna Jones is also great. I think the two of them will be just fine.
