I wonder which bright spark is responsible for the latest changes to Sunrise?

They might as well rename it "The Eamonn Holmes Breakfast Show" and have done with it. They'll be having the lottery draw next just to make him feel fully at home.

What an appalling format.

Lunchtime Live now has its own website

I hated sunrise, looks like Im off to BBC Breakfast.

Isn't that more than BBC News 24... You cant listen to that live can you?

When you look at it now, Lorna was saved by moving to weekends, at least she will have a lot of on air time. Charlotte Hawkins appeared 2 times in one hour to read the news.
Sunrise with Eamonn is dull, I loved him and Lorna together. Now there's nobody to laugh at his jokes. I really don't understand why they did this, maybe they'll get better ratings with just him. I think the oposite will happen.

His jokes have never been funny anyway.

what will also be interesting is when there is a major breaking news story, can he handle it.

I haven't seen Sunrise in ages - I'm either at work or fast asleep. But I've been watching some of Martin Stanford's show tonight and I have to say it's excellent - a really interesting debate right now about the future of the BBC.

Martin's actually just used the phrase 'fair and balanced', and then been visibly embarrassed about doing so. Quite right, too...
