Looks like a change in the TOTH sequence now, coming back from the ads before the top of the hour for a weather summary at .58 Then going straight into the TOTH titles.


It's been like that for Sunrise for a while now.

The new graphics appear to be a vast improvement on the previous ones.

Ah fair enough, I'm not normally up this early, nor a sky person. But it is looking good. Fantastic use of the new studio, lots of diffrent shots, angles. I'm waiting for a) some breaking news b) use of the new swivel desk.

First of all, Sky News would look wonderful if I didn't see "ews@sky.com" and "ky.com/ews" as a thin layer of the left handside is cut off. The time on the DOG could be in the middle as it is slightly off center and there are some other minor problems including the location stap next to the Live Tag not knowing when to show.

Next on to the crazy numbers of weather reports, there is one interview with a presenter, two short updates and two full update. Take a bloomin' clue and look outside, it's like having the weather channel but with news updates....

There are some bigger pics here plus 2 quite large videos, although Bail seems to have covered everything very well. Saves me a job!

I'm impressed, the studio is great but the graphics aren't as good as they could be. There seems to be a lot of pointless animating going on. Having said that I don't think I'd want to go back to the old graphics!
