Merry Christmas everyone.
Orbit Television here in the Middle East have replaced Sky News with Euronews. I am only now realising just how much I actually used to watch Sky News..........missing it somewhat!
Anyway, just wanted to check if Kay Burley did Sunrise yesterday, 25th, as she always normally did? Who else was on?
Merry Christmas,
James

@BBC WORLD - Kay was on her own on Sunrise.
The red light makes desk look much better, I actually hated it in the beginning but now I love it.

What's the reason for the use of the full laptop instead of the usual tablet pc's that the use? Surely it'd make it look a lot less cluttered.

The balcony position looks terrible - all cramped and the background's a mess. What's the point of having a newswall if you can't see it from the balcony. Very badly thought out.
I can't see the point of all these different presentation points. The small 'shelf' desks near the newswall and main desks are understandable as it's somewhere they can anchor from if using the newswall, or if they need to hand over from the main desk if it's full of interviewees. They have a point. The balcony one on the other hand is too far away from the action, and doesn't bring anything other than saying 'look at our large newsroom' - the view of which isn't very good anyway!
