to be fair just because you don't personally care about some of the new they break, doesn't mean it's not news. i'm not pointing the finger at you here this is just another point, but to some 'news snobs', if it's not politics, famin, or war, then it's not 'real' news.

my only gripe is using the actual breaking news strap for everything. they should use the blue ones. they're nice and calm, and make teh breaking news ones stand out.

Personally seeing that they've changed the straps for non breaking news, they should revert to previous straps.. ie...

Having this for breaking news...

Anna Botting has been on her own for what seems like weeks! Jeremy must be at the cricket.

However, I prefer her on her own. I think she is a very good anchor actually.

I'd rather they tell me everything, and then as a viewer I'll make up my mind as to whether its worth me listening in or not. I'd rather be treated with respect than people like the BBC assuming that i won't want to know

Yeah he is, been on Sunrise a lot during the Tests. It seems a strange choice to send him out there, what with he being the Live At 5 anchor, and where he probably wont be seen back until late January...

To be fair though, would this be getting quite so much coverage if it was more than 10 miles from Osterley?

There was freak tornado in Leeds not so long ago, which got about 30 seconds on the national news.

The graphics people must love this kind of thing:

The media is very London-centric so it's no surprise really.

Sky's coverage has been great and ahead of BBC's.

Not much credit considering the story's a non-starter.

It's just another excuse for all of the climate change sh it to come out.
