Just watching Sky News Today there, and the ticker now reads www.sky.com/news and news@sky.com, and the time has disappeared, leaving just the sky news logo Wonder why?

Is that just the bar international viewers see?

They used to have a bar like that before the ticker became 24hours.

Ginnyfan or any others do you have any more caps from the christmas or pre-christmas 05 period of a decent resolution.

At last - something a bit different!!

The opener to Sky News with Martin Stanford came from the "shoebox" presentation area. Nice pan from a plasma with the text and email address on it aswell.

OOH - and the news summary is coming from in front of the desk.

Looks quite good on screen.

Wonder if the TOTH is also presented from the Shoebox for this hour.
Its great if there using the shoebox, its not used much since the Sky Report finished.

I have these shots from last December, that Christmas background was great. And yes, there was a christmas tree last year.

Ginnyfan, could you please resize your caps to a reasonable size for web viewing as they make the page huge.

What did Martin do on his own last year then? I can't remember, but I know that he does do this quite a lot over christmas - or at least he used to. If anybody know's I'll be interested.

It was actually really nice tonight on Sky news with Martin Stanford. Looked really classy and sophisticated as opposed to having that 'The Pulse' style backdrop.
