This reminds me of my visit to Russia when we had BBC World on in the background for perhaps 2 hours a day at a very maximum. After just a week I could have murdered somebody at the sound of that breakfiller music.

Another Music Remix on the way...
We really seem to have hit the wrong note over one aspect of our coverage.
Many of the Sky News viewers living overseas have been sounding off about it for weeks now.
For the uninitiated, I should explain.
The advertisements which run during the commercial breaks are not shown abroad. Instead, viewers have a text summary of the top stories, the latest business news and weather reports.
What has annoyed many viewers is the music which accompanies this summary.
I can best illustrate your comments with this email from a serving soldier in Afghanistan who watches Sky News via the British Forces Broadcasting Service.
He said: "We have to listen to the Sky News music and since it is on all the time, I have now heard that tune about 10,000 times and it's starting to grind me down."
Other complaints have come from France, Kuwait and Johannesburg.
I have passed all your comments on to senior managers at Sky News.
Jon Bennett, head of studios, said: "We have noted what viewers have told us. We have had another listen to the music and have decided to re-mix the Sky News theme music."
I can't give you an exact date when the new music will accompany the text summaries during the commercial breaks but it should be in the next week or so.
I hope you like it, whether you are a soldier or a civilian - although I know many of you think that silence is golden.
I wonder if it'll be like the godawful new headlines bed?
