I enjoy watching Steve and Emma together. They are a real refreshment to the weekend afternoons, Allan and Helen became boring. Steve and Emma have good chemistry and are one of the longest pairings on Sky News. I just wish they will keep Chris Roberts with Lucy in the evenings and not mix them up every weekend.

I have to agree. I find it quite bizarre that none of the majors have snapped up Juliette yet. She is an excellent presenter to have on board.

Perhaps she has other projects away from TV and radio?
I miss Juliette a lot and have not seen Sky News in months. From reading this thread it doesn't sound that great any more (IMO).

Ugh, the recorded bulletins with Miranda Schunke this morning are absolutely awful. Why can't she do them live like Lukwesa Burak and Orla Chennaoui have the past few days (I didn't see who it was last night),
AFAIK they only record bulletins when work's taking place on the studio, which has to take place sometime . Crewing Millbank would presumably be prohibitively expensive, and there isn't really anywhere else at Osterley to do it from.

Must be coincidence then that it always seems to be when Miranda is on lately.

Steve and Emma were really good together today, weren't they?

As its recorded on the broadcast, they wouldnt beable to go over the V/O.

They would be able to if the V/O was played out from transmission, rather than the gallery, but I doubt they would go to the trouble.

Nice to see Samantha Simmonds presenting Sunrise with Mark Longhurst today - has she been promoted from overnights, or just filling in?

She does the occasional weekend shift AFAIK.

I have to say, I find the situation on the overnights useless. I like Lukweska alot, I just never manage to see it when she's on (Anyone know when?) but apart from that, presenters are pretty rubbish. Orla Chennouai is good as well. I don't really like Miranda.

Bring back Gordon Radley.

Yes, whatever happened to Gordon Radley? And that other fellow with the glasses too?

Miranda always seems to be shouting at me on screen.

I take it you mean Kevin Owen.

Other presenters I miss are Micheal Watkins, Ana Boulter and Sheila Jansen.

Why, where has Michael Watkins gone to? He's the Biz guy, right? Isn't he still around? He was good indeed.

Sheila Jansen - ditto. I think David Foster has gone to Al Jazeera.
