Nothing special- Random presenters are often seen on Sunrise, particularly over the weekend. He's done it quite a few times before.

Mark Longhurst along with Allan King, nonetheless........

Long day for Colin Brazier. He did the morning and afternoon editions of Sky News Today.

Surprised to see Live at Five (Jeremy Thompson) coming live from the Golf. Is this the first time it has happened, or is it a regular thing?

I spotted a new-look Technofile today - it seems to be a bit more in the vein of Click, presented by Martin Stanford CSOed in front of an almost-white backdrop (despite Saturday Live being with Mark Longhurst today).

It was quite an interesting (if a little confused) 10-15 minute package about tracking people with technology, followed by a down-the-line interview from the studio on the same subject.
And somehow it wasn't entirely a surprise to see that Martin Stanford drives a Volvo.

I thought I saw Chris Roberts there this morning, with Mark presenting Sunrise with Helen Fospero.

Strange to see the random presenter schedules at the moment, it's quite annoying really- if a presenters off they should get a cover presenter in to cover for them, instead of a cover presenter covering for a normal presenter who switches shifts.

If that makes any sense.

It's still nice to see some more presenters on, particularly Faye Barker who appeared last night.

7pm just had a countdown to the top of the hour. Has this happened before?

A bit of an unfortunate choice of words there by the reporter outside Leeds General Infermary describing the BBC's investigation as "going in like rottwielers", while the breaking news strap was about a story of a 5-month-old baby killed by a rottwieler.
