they also have a new breaking news ident, just as they go to read out the breaking news the strap at the bottom of the screen is expanded to fill the whole screen for a split second before cutting to the presenters

I imagine its just like the PLUS screen wipe during the top stories? only red.

On the TOTH i really like it, the music still has hints of the sky news music, its very american, all noises and brash, I do like it though

I think it is quite good as the studio pan got boring after the first few weeks of the relaunch

I wish they used the nicer mixes of the music for the new TOTH. It doesnt quite match the mix they are using, but they may be alternating the music, who knows, I have only seen 2 TOTH's.

I love the new opening. It's more exciting and fresh, and it has a shot of the studio,which is the best part of it.

Sky News Ireland even have an updated opening sequence. The studio shot isn't as impressive as the UK one.

What happens for the recorded hours, where the time and would be incorrect?

Sky News is live 24hrs/day, apart from the very occasional overnight.
