Yeah notice that too. It looks good, but they've lost their dramatic theme music at the top of the hour, and there theme tune is what makes Sky quite popular aswell. Hopefully they will expand on the idea they've brought in to make it longer.

Oh I likee. They seem to be making the Sky News logo animate more often now.
Not too sure about the music but I'll probably grow to like it. Not as good as the previous piece.
The only problem with it though is that they'll have to keep to even more precise times seeing as it shows the live time.

What the hell have they done. They've ditched the signature tune to just the headline bed now... The full title music they had was lovely. All it needed was something a little better than wizzing around the studio, not that peice of...

It's much better than the silly ident they show at the TOTH, and the music is much more upbeat and "happening".
Anyway, only us anoraks actually care, people don't tune into Sky News to watch the Ident.

Visually... looks a bit cheap.
Audibly... sounds even cheaper.
Horrible, in short.
I was hoping they would get rid of the studio pan, but the music was rather lovely. Now they have a bit of that music left over, and a bit of this new music before it.
Sounds a bit like mixing the Panorama theme with the Six O'clock News.
