It's much better this way. Also has anyone seen Sunrise at 6 and 7 am. Did they anchor from the balcony like at 8 am?

I like how theyve moved the presenters on the balcony.. they can use the newswall for stories while up there now and they don't look cramped and uncomfortable, (presenters) because the presenter to the right of us used to looked very uncomfortable.

Any chance of a cap of the website bug. I'm not sure where you mean it is.

No capture facilities here, but if it helps, the text is now contained within the red strap at the top of the lower third graphics. It's at the right-hand side of the strap which also still contains the story catchline or 'Breaking News' text at the left-hand side.

Well, if Sunrise opening is now at the balcony that means only Sky News with Martin Stanford is anchored from the newswall pod?

Oh good God that's hidious! Laughing

Why do they need it at all? Just put it in the ticker if anywhere.

What would happen if the screen is without a strap? The website bug sits there out of nowhere? Shocked

It looks bad in ths cap because of the long wording in the top graphic. It doesn't look too bad when it's "breaking news".

I guess this used to happen every so often, but a few days ago I was watching when "www.sky.com/news" was displayed on the top stories graphic, the BUG and it scrolled past on the ticker too. Ridiculous.

Did the Sunrise this morning have a voice over, when they were on the balcony?

If the strap isn't there, the bug isn't there, quite simple really.

Plus it doesn't always appear on every story/breaking news strap.

Maybe if their site didn't look so crap they'd get more hits without the need for more on-screen clutter. But to be fair, it's not as bad as thje ITV News website...

Truly remarkable to compare Sky's coverage of the Sun's lead story tomorrow morning with News 24's.

News24 have given it about 20/25 minutes, and Sky have been going at it for the past 1 hour and 45 minutes. They are leagues ahead.

Almost looks like News 24 are scared of reporting or discussing it.
