Here are a few caps of Julie. So far today all the regular presenters were in their time slots. I hope they will keep it this way for some longer period of time.

Read it properly. That isn't a proposal.. it is what Sky do and have done for years and years.

I have read it again. To me it reads like a manifesto for his stewardship of the channel.

We'll look at the story count too. We'll shoot "big game, not rabbits" - fewer stories in more depth. Some days only three or four stories might dominate.

I suppose you can read it like that, to be fair, although the way I read it seems to suggest much of the same.

The website thing is the one truly good piece of news. I only hope it isn't just rhetoric and it actually can stand up, at least to some extent, some of the newspaper websites and BBC News Online. At the moment it is a nice little site... but it is little, and feels it. (ooh-err) Either way, the site seems to have changed already, as it now directs you to 'news.sky.com' rather than www.sky.com/skynews

It is ironic that whilst Sky sat pointing the finger at the Beeb for being a slow dinosaur and not recognising change, the BBC have developed by far one of the best news presences on the internet, Sky have been left wanting and it's come back to bite them on the ar*e.

Quote from that link Londoner

Commenting on her move to Sky News Isobel said: "I am passionate about weather. After 12 years at the BBC, I am looking forward to joining my new colleagues at Sky News – a pioneer in the field of live broadcasting. Viewers will soon see me delivering forecasts with cutting-edge graphics on the Sky News Centre’s 14 metre long news wall."

Would you call the current graphics Cutting-Edge?
With all this talk of a new website, maybe they will re-jig the weather reports, Also, by the sounds of that it sounds like all weather reports will now be from the newswall.

By the way, if you want to complain about graphics or something on sky do you just email the news@sky.com or is it another email adress?

Might as well, he'll probably be interested.

The weather set up is ridiculous at the newswall. You simply cannot make out anything clearly, so the whole bulletin is almost entirely pointless.

They'll realise in a month or so.

I dont think Sky actualy read news@sky.com e-mails unless they are about a story.

Best shot josh, is to e-mail one of the addresses on the Sky Green Room/Press office site, im sure there is a PR e-mail somewhere on that.

It's much better this way. Also has anyone seen Sunrise at 6 and 7 am. Did they anchor from the balcony like at 8 am?

Glad to see the web bug has moved. Although the fact it's there in the first place just seems a bit stupid if they've got major plans to update the website in the near future.

Surely it'd be better to get the website right, *then* promote it heavily on screen?
