Also, not sure if this has been mentioned, but it looks like the Sky News 'today' name is reserved for the mornings only, with the afternoons referred to as Sky News. Looks like another return to the pre-relaunch days.

He was bloody good last night too, standing in for Martin Stanford. I enjoyed his thoroughness in the interviews he conducted.

They also have seemed to have ditched the Saturday Live format...but one wonders if this is only for the duration of the conflict in the middle east? A shame as it was quite good - I don't think Martin Stanford has done it since he got his own show, so maybe Julie Etchingham will get that when she returns?

I can understand why there is a mix up in the presenting schedule,due to the Middle East Crisis and many presenters on the ground, but I really can't gey why are they changing the shows which worked well. Sky News Today PM should stay and the presenters should be standing and walking through the studio, which is built with that purpose. Also they should return the SNT logo in the background, and make a new TOTH with colours reflecting parts of the day. The only thing I like is the new background for Sky News @ 10.

Popplewell did very well on Martin's show, although he did make a right hash of the 9pm TOTH on Friday, ever the professional covered it up well though.

Indeed, Greg. I also noticed on Friday that they had started using name tags for all anchors, sports, weather and business presenters.
Other than the normal verbal intro at the top of the programme, I have never seen name astons used for Sky Presenters before. Wonder why they are using the huge white on blue though for the anchors name tags, as opposed to the normal astons used for reporters and correspondents???
