At the end of all this reshuffling, it's inevitable that Sky News will return to what has delivered moderate (but rarely outstanding) success in audience terms- rolling news.

Wrapping it up in "3G interactivity", is I believe rather a face-saving operation...it's got to hurt to essentially rip up the expensive relaunch schedule and revert to the old Sky News.

Sorry, and am sure that this question has been asked a million times in my six weeks absence from TVF, but what is Emma Crosbie doing at the LSE? Replacing Juliette Foster one imagines?

Have dipped in and out of Sky News briefly over the last wee while - I have to say it really has gone from watchable to mediocre. What the hell has happened?

Bit of a mess up the camera work on sunrise this morning....after the "showbiz gossip" [ Rolling Eyes ] camera freezes on Steve Dixon, ShowBiz person and Alec [?] in the sport....no-one seemed what to do.

And perhaps they could have got Lorna in a more suitable area to do the live-feed from Kings Cross....like Bill Turnbull was on the BBC.

Given that she came from CNBC, I would imagine she has ample experience reporting business news...

Indeed, although, If I were her, at this point I'd be quite annoyed and wish I'd stayed at CNBC... She's gone from;

*Presenting 1-2 hour broadcasts on CNBC and then doing Europe Updates, -to-
*Presenting 2-3 hour broadcasts on Sky News (although very randomly). -to-
*Upto 4 minutes an hour or less at the LSE for Sky News!

Must be the money!

Was this something he did for five, and sky nicked it?

Good bye World News Tonight.

It would seem, from James Rubin's farewell speech that he was aware of his 'incapabilities'....Still, I always enjoyed the Friday Panel when I had a chance to watch it.
