Lisa Burke is doing the weather all day long and she is wonderfull as always.

Sorry, but her sickly and simpering presentation style really makes me want to vom. And why does she always have to hold her head at a sideways angle? Does she have spinal problems?

Lucy Versamey (SP?) does that alot too.

It must be the strong westerly winds.

ive noticed the little white blip that scrolls from left to right above the ticker has disappeared.

not the most revolutionary observation i know, but i think it looks better without it.

Yes I've noticed that too. I like it better this way.

Damn, and I just finished adding that chaser to my screensaver.

While it's not the most drastic change Sky News have made, I quite liked that white scrolling thing.

Yes, me too. It looks like the ticker overlays the bottom of the astons now rather than sitting on top of the ticker..

funny incident just on sky news today with mark longhurst and bob geldof. geldof was outlining rather strongly the evidence why he thought live 8 worked, and when mark finally got a word in he said something like, "yes, we'll believe the sales pitch" or words to that effect. geldof butted in and started calling him a cynical journalist! and at the end he told him again to stop being so cynical, and walked off camera muttering "fa goord's sake bloody skyyyy" in his irish drawl.

nothing nasty in any of it though.

Yea a quite bizarre interview!

One thing that got me was Geldoff kept saying, 'stop being so journalistic'. Now excuse my ignorance but he had agreed to be interviewed on a news channel?! Confused

Opening of SNT is different because the presenter walks to the newswall desk, instead of sitting into the chair. This is better.

Yeah only the top story should be presented at the newswall pod I think.
