Kay and Mark were the two I watched on the old Sky News the most, they make a good presenting duo, it's been great seeing them together again today.

MG are reporting the Buckley & Juliette Foster have been let go.

Have to say that Kay & Mark this afternoon in the bits i've seen have been a breath of fresh air.

The move back to a rolling news schedule, which is pretty much where they are going to go, means that Sky are overloaded with presenters, so some were going to go.

Buckley was a no-brainer in my opinion. Foster was a bit of a surprise but if her going meant that people like Anna Jones stayed then it's fine.

Sky always worked better as a lean machine.

Parts of the revamp were very necessary, i.e. a new studio, the move to server based playout, but while some of the ATV programmes work (Lunchtime Live, Saturday Live), others feel disjointed (WNT)

I'm so shocked by this news. They could let someone else go, like Gillien Joseph, she is the worst presenter in my opinion.

Get over it - there are still two presenters there!

the decision to let her go must have been short notice considering she was on yesterday and Kay Burley has had to do overtime to replace her today.

Please do not call me a stalker, why do you have a problem with my username. Ginny is my favorite presenter and that's why I came up with that username, it's simple as that. I don't understand why do you think I'm some kind of a maniac or obsessed person.

whats wrong with having a favourite presenter? and being a fan?

anyway, is the reason she's not on now because of her leaving? and have we seen the last of her or will she present again before she goes?

And maybe Kay continuing into SNT PM will be permanent to replace Ginny, seems to have worked well today.

So does this mean James is scrapped, or will he present some new programme, for example like a "World News Weekly" instead of Saturday live?
