Lunchtime Live is one the better performing ATV shows though isn't it?

It may be...but ratings for time slots have not improved despite a well publicised (not to mention expensive) revamp. I have to say that 'I think' that The Sky Report is better.
Although, I think that any change may be radical; they are obviously being reactionary, so whether there will actually be better programming is questionable; this is a massive red face so soon after a revamp.
I think front line names may face the chop, and was always bemused at them bringing in new presenters in the first place!!
We'll soon find out though! Wink

I wonder if Lunchtime Live & Technofile are safe?

I doubt Technofile, a very brief weekend feature, will be in the targets of the sharp shooters.

They should offer (the retired ?) Viv Creegor a financial incentive to come back, if only at weekends. In my opinion, Sky has not had a more adept, measured and personable female anchor.

Just revert back to what you use to do best - Rolling News, with the odd programme at the weekend - keep the Saturday/Sunday Live

If only they had Viv, Lisa Aziz and Shiela Jansen Back. Put World News as a 30 min bulletin at 8.30, a Business Programme at 7.30 and a Sky Report at 10.30 focussing maybe on just 2 topics but in more detail.

Well, I suspect she never liked all that business. I felt she quite reasonably felt her job was fine sat behind a desk.

They just announced on Media Guardian than James Chater has quit Sky News. Could he be the first of many?

You mean David Chater. A shame, but he has been under-used as Africa correspondent.
