Perhaps you should read some media law.

Noticed last night at the top of the hour at middnight that one of the cameras by the pod appeared to be spinning its head around a bit...reminded me of Doctor Who they way it was.

I don't know if all of this coverage on the terror raid is really that necessary. Sky picked up on the story with Steve Gaisford and Juliette Foster at around 9:15 with Martin Stanford taking over at 10 to be joined with Allan King at 11 (aroundabouts). Chris Roberts has been up at the scene.

Every time I have tuned in since, there have been live pictures of the same road, with absolutely nothing happening. Also, this news is still classed as breaking according to Sky, the same text used on the breaking news strap from 9:30 this morning. I know in theory this could turn out to be a mjor development, but is it really necessary to devote 5 hours (and counting) worth of looping videos, live pictures of an uneventful street and endless guests saying the same thing as one another (a couple have even recommended to Sky on-air to turn away from this as nothing will unfold in the coming hours)?

I agree, Time Warp.
Misjudged sensationalism at the expense of covering other current news.

So, what's Sky News' second-top story? Well, word-for-word from the headline strap:
Quote:
Rooney Kicks Ball

Frightening.

In all seriousness, that's quite big news! Top story on Sky Sports News yesterday too.

God. Ive started watching sky again recently.

Id like to see the three presenter format return for SNT, even the old SNT was more "movey about our newsroom".
