Anyway, was just wondering as I dont have access to SKY News, when they launched the left of the ticker (before logo and time) had reminders for news@sky.com www.sky.com/news and active, last time I watched sky news they just had the active reminder, does it still change every couple of mintues or not?

No, because of ratio problems. It changed from something like the second week of the new look as many viewers could only see 'ky/com/news' or 'ws@sky.com'. The solution was to keep a 'O Active' on-screen, but this remained for only a couple of weeks before it was tweaked to 'Active O' in November-time, which has remained ever since.

Did they return to the regular programing today or it's still like the weekends.I see Ginny & Steve now but they are sitting at the desk,so I guess this is news on the hour.

Regular programming will return tomorrow - As usual, on bank holidays, it is news on the hour every hour...

How is that different to any other time ?
The (weekday) schedule only brands / names different blocks of hours to give the impression they are different.

There is no SNT type presentation, just the presenters sat behind the desk.

Just had a thought while watching Sky News earlier today
The presentation during weekends is pretty dull when you compare it to the likes of the weekday or even the weekend mornings.
What if they possibly put small metal stools [thank you for correcting my spelling] (of course they would match in with the design of the studio) and place them at the pod by the newswall.
Just an idea and it wouldnt always be done for the entire weekend just for particular hours.
Ignore it if you wish Wink
