Hahaha! funniest thing i've seen ever! and the look on Emma's face! What was Steve saying?? "Quite Nice Actually"? looked like he was talking about what he was eating!

I agree, I think he says something like 'quite nice'. Just love how he hides the biscuit under the table when he realises he's on air.

Absolutely hilarious. When did this happen? (referring Steve and Emma). See - newscasters are human too...................

I only caught a momentarty glimpse of Sunrise today, and from what I could see, there was only one presenter (Lucy Alexander). Am I mistaken, or was Lucy flying solo today?

Has anyone watched this live because I want to know what did they say after the report ended?

Here's a screenshot of Emma's shocked face.

I see the awful Active strap is back again, it seems to be more prominent at weekends.

Does anyone have any inside knowledge from Sky Towers as to why they're persisting with this?

The producer of the weekend thinks that its a good idea, whereas the producers during the week do not!

Aside from that, it's somewhat misleading to those watching Sky News via DTT and cable. Not everyone watching Sky News
on the other two digital platforms will realise that Sky News Active is only available on Sky Digital. Although, I'm sure most
of us here on TVF know the difference, I really don't think that a small animated pic of a Sky+ remote control handset
on the right hand side of the screen, is a good enough indication of the limited availability of the service.

It especially doesn't help when Sky News presenters say "Press red on your digital remote control for Sky News Active",
as though it's available on all digital platforms. My dad, and a few of my neighbours with DTT, have asked me why "the
press red thing" doesn't work on Sky News. Why can't Sky at least put "Available on Sky Digital Only" on screen?

Or try a cut down version of it for Freeview.... like N24.
