I've noticed it a few times during the week as well Dave. Bloody annoying and definatly not a reduction in the "screen clutter"

It all animates very nicely on and off screen, shame we don't want it there in the first place.

I also noticed that the old Sky News Centre is not that much bigger than Sky Sports Centre so I really doubt that they would be bidding for it. And if they do bid for it, it would be becuase of the newswall.

If the gallery and production facilities are part of the Sky News operation, this may be a reason for SSN to want to move - as well as boring stuff like air con, ceiling height etc. There is more to a news operation than the studio floor/newsroom size.

Really enjoyed Martin's coverage of "CeBit"

How on earth did they get live pictures out of that massive exhibition centre?

Rachel Amatt just called James Rubin "Jamie" Very Happy

Also why does "Jamie" still use american pronunciations (Anteye(Anti)) on a british based news channel?

I know it can be a bit annoying but I like the diversity though!

I hear from a person I know at Sky, who is pretty high up in the SN operation, that the active strap will be removed. When, I dont know however.

I cant stand Jamies accent. He called anna "Ann" and stumbled on TOTH many times.

Quite a lot of the other presenters refer to James as Jamie.
