I'll be one of these annoying people now but has anyone got a cap of it? I flicked onto Sky News briefly over the weekend but it can't have been shown and now I'm back in the land of only five channels...

Even I get irritated though I only get a bulletin a day from Star World. The 'Press Red for Active' is constantly on the screen and only fades for the news strap then it returns! No mentioning my Red button doesnt work on Sky News ... Shocked

When I was watching this morning just after 7am, they were doing a piece on the Oscars and the strap said "Press Red for Oscar News" or something like that....bizarre! Your watching the story so why would you press red to watch the same story..... Confused

With the greatest respect, Johnnie, it mystifies me how someone who RUNS A TV PRES SITE can consistently post caps that are in the wrong aspect ratio!

Can't you SEE that it doesn't look right?! Or do you actually watch telly with the picture looking like that? Shocked

Last night's overnight was even worse. Sky had there breaking News strap up on screen most of the night saying Oscar coverage now on Sky Movies. I don't see why this needs to be on the breaking news strap or on the strap at all, they could have this caption running along the ticker every few minutes.

Grainne is an excellent presenter, but there were a lot of things happening this morning, much more then usual, but really someone needs to get rid of this Active graphic, it really is pointless especially overseas!

Don't know if they did this all day, but on Sunrise the Oscars News was sponsored.


They did the top of the hour headlines at 8am, then the bloke who isn't Eamonn Holmes said something like "Now, the Oscars News" - and we cut to a sting and we had all the Oscars news, including Amanda Byram on the red carpet, then another sponsor sting and on to the main news.
