I've never rated Lucy's presenting; I find her delivery a little annoying.
One of the few sky news presenters I can tolerate watching for any extended period is Steve Gaisford, who is also very versatile.
I used to like Vivien Creegor a lot too.

Good slip up by Lucy there! Started to say newschannel... for the email address, which of course is how the ITV NC email address started. She recovered well though. She's good, I like her.

yep -noticed that too. She's much better than the woman who's there usually.

The two ex news channel presenters Lucy and Faye have both been excellent. They really do show up Sky's new signings from the relaunch.

I couldn't watch today so who was on SNT .From your posts I see it was Lucy and not Ginny (unfortunately) but who else?

Steve Gaisford was on since 0700 then continued through till 1200.
Emma did the first hour of sunrise alone.

Ms Helen Fospero is another excellent presenter. Miles ahead of certain others. I hope that Sky uses her more - would be an excellent choice as Botting replacement on SNT.

Another thing........although she does come across as a bit of a Hollywood wannabe at times, but isn't Kay Burley an excellent anchor too????

I think if we could all put our personal feelings aside for a moment, you gotta admit that she seems to do this whole thing with the greatest of ease and handles all and everything well????

I will probably be reminded by some of you that I have slated Kay Burley previously on this forum, but having had the chance to watch her programme repreatedly over the last few weeks, she IS good. (Studio bound only - not those glossy on location interviews that she does though).

Kay is awesome. I remember her presenting live from Singapore (I think?) when London was given the 2012 Olympics, she was fantastic - really upbeat and captured the mood perfectly. She can really turn her hand to both lighthearted and serious stuff... I do however think she should be given a less-fluffy show than she has now.

You just know she's a right diva though

I don't like Kay Burley. I know we have to focus on the remit within which they are working, rather than judging their apparent personalities, but I find her cold with one or two annoying mannerisms.

Give me Viv Creegor or Steve Gaisford anytime.
No attitude, assumed prestige nor dramatism.

There are many other sky news presenters I also don't rate or like, such as Martin Stanford, Jeremy Thompson, Chris Roberts or Eamon Holmes.
Why? Well, they come over as over-hyping the news or adding unecessary gravitasse; too happy to fuel the media circus which feeds their bank accounts.

I have always been a fan of Martin Stanford! Leave him alone!

They need to completly overhaul their ticker , on some screens it looks ok, on others really awful.
