I think that your point regarding James Rubin is spot on.

Generally - all the new signings have proved disappointing! I think the pool of talent they had before October 24 was fine and capable of continuing in any relaunch. Yet Nick Pollard must of seen it fit to include new names?

I also think the ATV shows should be held back an hour - i.e. Sky Report -8pm and WNT -9pm . I think that this may make them get better figures? Certainly the content of the shows are great!

I also think that Sportsline in a half hour slot during prime time could be extended to a full hour slot ? (7-8pm) Yet in saying that - Sky already have Sky Sports News!

I hope that rather than bringing in yet more and more presenters - they'll realise the ones that have served their probation - are more than good enough to take on N24.

So, seeing as there are only 3 days of February remaining, should we expect these "changes" promised for the month to come into effect from Monday (27th)?

Has it been confirmed that these changes would occur? I thought it was empty speculation based upon someone's desire for a change in of the TOTH sequence.

Sky like him a lot; perhaps too much sometimes. As I said last week, he appeared on Sky News Tonight last Friday evening up until midnight, and was back at 10am with Martin Stanford for Saturday Live, and then continued until 5pm anchoring On the Hour.

It's not like he does every day, 6am - midnight non-stop. A couple of long shifts at the weekend is hardly going to kill anyone.

the person who reads the headlines in the 'Saturday/Sunday Live' programmes always goes on to do 12-5pm. It's probably a case of them having a shortage of male newsreaders rather than them liking him.

They just played out the whole closing sequence of the CBS Evening News, including the Wal-Mart sponsorship

I don't think they particularly like him at all; he's just one of the apparent 'secondary' presenters who gets pushed from pillar to post.

Meanwhile insincere prima donnas like kay burley get a short regular weekday slot for substantially more money.

Whats with all the still camera shots today? Has Jim the Jimmyjabjibjab crane director passed away suddenly or something.

Lucy Alexander - what an improvement on Ginny Buckley!

For me presenters are about credibility. Buckley has zero but Alexander has loads
