I've been told its the same one they use for SNI.
Also, watching press preview, and even though its not always 100% , its one of the most watchable things on Sky News .
From the relaunch, Sunrise, and Press Preview have been the big gains for sky.

I agree with that; they should place her name last as it has only been recorded wih the presumption that she is a single anchor (ie for the overnights), and therefore when her name is played first, it sounds completely wrong.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. Same happened yesterday with the Breaking News. She handled it.
Perhaps he's not very good at it.
Mark Longhurst Lunchtime Live yesterday. Was quite good. And, is the lady Georgie, who does the overnights, also the same one who does the sport on occasion?

Yes, she's done a few overnight shifts, probably being groomed for bigger and better things.
In regards to Eamonn I think its hardly surprising, GMTV is hardly a training ground for dealing with breaking news but you would have thought that he would have been able to do it, after all he does and has worked in television for a long time now, and all it really involves is either reading off the version of the television screen above the cameras or reading off the screen of your tablet/PC.
Sky's coverage of the Nottingham shooting and Grantham crash has been impecable as always, miles ahead of News 2. The had the skycopter up and above both sites, they've had interviews with past victims and the man whose house it was that was originally broken into in Nottingham. Darren Little again really very good, is his voice always so quiet and sombre?
Martin Popplewell is on today, that silly man; he should be sacked. I'm soory but i think he's a waste of space and should be put on Five News permanently.
Other than that Grainne is getting better, although if she does move to sky news UK officially I think she should go on sky news at ten. Her voice suits it plus she's sexy, got poise and has an air/way about her that would add some glamour to the program.

It flew over my head this morning as I was on my way to work and I have heard it intermittently buzzing around in the distance - it's just gone again.
Anyway, the two incidents, from a news perspective, are ideally situated for the Skycopter - the A52 crash would literally be minutes away from Lenton as the crow flies.

I was similarly confused; I turned on just as Sky went into a break, and found that Chris was speaking as if he didn't know he had people watching him - around 11:28 i think it was?

Just turned on for the paper review - don't know what happened, but Chris Roberts clearly didn't realise he was on-air and was talking to the gallery and was about to take his earpiece out.

Eamonn is a lot better covering for Philip Schofield on This Morning, this shows how much out of depth he is on Sunrise.

I recently, for the first time saw Sunrise since the relaunch and what a pleasant surprise it was to see Eamonn, what can only be best descriped as woodling across the Sky News Centre. Certainly made my morning.

I'm going to assume that I am the only person who likes Eamonn on Sunrise these days? I like him there becouse of his presenting style...first thing in the morning I dont want the likes of Dermot Murnaghan (who puts me off Breakfast) while after years of Eamonn being on GMTV he has both the entertaining values plus some (even though people will disagree with me) authoritve talents.
I prefere to see Eamonn on Sunrise than Steve Dixon...Laurna is ok but I would rather see some other people being tried out.

Well I detest Eammon on Sunrise. I cant abide his presenting manner which is interspersed with these annoying phrases like 'news youre waking up to' every few minutes. The man never resists an opportunity to divert an interview from the topic in hand to that of a sporting matter (ie how much he loves Manchester Utd) or some other trivial issue. Banter between presenters is a good thing, but the sports chat, sorry, news is, imo, cringeworthy. If he wants to talk sport then maybe he should move to Sky Sports News and then someone competent like Steve Dixon or Gaisford can present Sunrise.
