Thank god Kay is on now - Anna was just awful at dealing with the breaking this morning.

It’s also the last programme for me before I go off on maternity leave for a little while – so I hope you’ll join us you at 7!

Best wishes,
Julie

I was just watching World News Tonight (which I thought was great today by the way!), and at the end the camera pulled out whilst the theme music played. Made such a difference to the rest of the days 'crashing' into breaks.

Before the relaunch they had really nice music they used to play at the end of each hour, which actually had an 'end'. This would be so much better than the way they go into the breaks at the end of the hour.

I notice the Live at Five simulcast has now ended on Sky Three, but they are showing Lunchtime Live from 12noon to 2pm instead.

This morning was the first time ive actually seen Graine on a tv, and I must say she is really good and she looks so much younger to caps and videos ive seen from here with her in it.

Sky has been quite good lately, but I actually thought that Anna (Jones?) was quite good at handling the Breaking News. She is used to it, after all.

I also noticed that they are using a reporter now called Ursula Errington. Being quite an uncommon surname, one assumes that she is related to the other Sky reporter, Juliet Errington? (AITHBRB).

I don't know, how annoyed would SKY be if they had to take the "News Channel of the Year" thing away?

Very Happy Oh right, I thought you were telling a joke.

I imagine it would be a bit bad for them, because it does look pretty impressive.

Seems the robotic cameras have got the wind up them today. At the last toth open you could see one being chased by the floor manager until it crashed into a stationary camera. Nice.
