I think those shots look quite nice, its a nice change with no ticker. However the ones with astons on look awful
I think they were having serious problems during WNT. I looked at about 8:45pm and the clock had gone as well! Ticker and clock were back at 9pm though.

I noticed last night that the entire studio was empty except the newsreader.
The newsroom is usually quite busy and full from 6am-11pm i guess. I would assume that they use lesser amounts of staff at night and so they use a differnt area to work in

They mostly seem to be off to the right hand side of the newswall.
I'm told that if someone's in shot in the newsroom, it's usually because they're just off the phone with their gran/dad/fish, and someone's looking out for them on air.

CNN have already got a team out there, led by the mildly cretinous Beck Anderson.

I've noticed on alot of the pans that people in the newsroom would get up and move more towards the set so they can get to be in the shot, In the old set on BBC World for The World Today I used to noticed people in the backround stand up and start to walk pointlessly to the other side of the newsroom to be in the shots.

Do you honestly think that people who work in a 24 hour newsroom, where they could be in shot anywhere they go, give a **** about calling their mates to show them they're on TV.
