Haven't they used them since before the relaunch?
and I think its just the news program that they have on the computers in the desk isnt it?
The Tablet PC's have ENPS or some form of News Wire, where they can see the latest breaking news, ammend scripts and see the running order.
They have used them eversince Sky News Today launched in 2001 If im correct. Not sure on when it exactly launched.

I'm not sure if they still do, but before the relaunch I'm pretty certain they were using iNews.

Yeh. Well I also know the whole newsroom is linked to one system now, which was "revolutionary" for the new look when it was launched. I remember them saying somewhere.
Nice to see normal scheduling back, Sky News Today PM should be axed, and more desk news in PM, Lunchtime Live needs Lil Miss Ginger to toodle off to normal desk presenting, and maybe Martin Stanford or someone could take her place.
I cant stand that woman.

The tablet PCs have as you say the standard news wire software, which some of the PC screens behind the desk have, although they can actually watch Sky news on them.
They were originally launched back with the interactive Sky news Today launched, when Martin stood in front of the newswall.

A pic for you..
I agree with what your saying Little Miss Sky, needs to be put down a peg or two.
But I have to say I think SKy News Today PM and its problems lie with the production team and Ginny
