Can someone get Faisal Islam a new umbrella?

That was still their best logo incarnation of recent times.

According to Sky's EPG, Colin and Jaynes' 10:00-14:00 shift will be branded as 'Lunchtime Live' (I seem to remember that from somewhere Wink) from Monday, with 'The Kay Burley Show' following.

The online Sky guide is showing All Out Politics as still occupying the 10-11 slot. Also, the 6pm slot is listed as Sky News at Six 2018.

There's also 'The News Hour with Mark Austin' at 5pm and at 6 - 'Sky News at Six 2018'.

If I feel like having lunch at 10am, I can have lunch at 10am. Don't judge.

(Nice to see the Lunchtime Live branding return.)

Also, sort out 7-10pm which are all just bog standard hours despite their attempts at branding, nothing unique?!

It wasn't always a bog standard news block though.

In the past it had two presenters, a few different presentation viewpoints different types of content, in depth reports and guests and used far more of the studio than just someone sitting behind a desk, but when it went single headed it just became Dermot sitting in front of a Desk

I am very glad to hear that all these nice program titles will make a return. It was April 2011 when most of them like Afternoon Live or Live at Five were axed. Now even older names such as Lunchtime Live will be back. Hopefully we will see a decent branding coming along with it. Very exciting!

Bring back James Rubin! Laughing Whilst we're at it, how about adding a three-presenter bulletin in there somewhere? Wink Speaking of, I'm really quite surprised they opted not to call Colin and Jayne's slot 'Sky News Today', and I do think they missed a trick by not bringing back 'Live at Five' for Mark Austin. Still, not that any of this really matters in the grand scheme of things...

ISTR reading on here many years ago that Dermot doesn't really like standing up to do the news, hence why his slots have always been desk-based.

They do seem to go in circles every few years, dropping branded programmes then reinstating them. Probably in a few years it'll be back to just bog-standard 'Sky News' all day.

People who do brunch? Also remember in this day and age one can eat breakfast/lunch/dinner/tea/supper at any damn time they please. Much like one can eat cornflakes for their main evening meal if they so wish.
